Bio

I am an Associate Professor of Management in the Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University. My research examines the human side of organizational change, including how employees experience, interpret, and respond to change and how leaders and organizations structure and manage change effectively. I also study interpersonal dynamics and employee experiences at work, using primarily quantitative, multi-method approaches.

My research has appeared in the Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Human Relations, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Human Resource Management Review, among other outlets, with practitioner-oriented work published in Harvard Business Review. I currently serve as Associate Editor of The Journal of Applied Behavioral Science, Guest Editor for a Journal of Organizational Behavior special issue on organizational change, and Methods Editor for the Campbell Collaboration’s Management & Business Coordinating Group.

I teach undergraduate, graduate, and executive learners in management and organizational behavior, with an emphasis on experiential and evidence-based approaches to understanding teams, leadership, and organizational change.

I hold a Ph.D. in Business (Organizational Behavior) from The Graduate Center and Baruch College – The City University of New York (CUNY), an M.B.A. from Baruch College, an M.Phil. in Business from The Graduate Center, CUNY, and a B.S. in Economics and Marketing from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
